# GPU Economy

> Retail purchase prices and cloud rental prices for datacenter and consumer GPUs,
> collected from public provider pricing pages and normalized to a single
> comparable unit: US dollars per GPU per hour.

Prices are re-scraped on a schedule and stored append-only, so every figure has a
capture timestamp and a source URL. Node-priced offerings (CoreWeave, Lambda SXM,
Paperspace) are divided by GPU count so a per-node quote never gets compared
against a per-GPU one. Every page shows the date its data was captured.

## Limits

- Listed public prices only. Negotiated, committed-use and enterprise contract rates are not visible to us and are not included.
- Availability is not tracked: a listed price does not mean capacity is free right now.
- Spot and preemptible rates move faster than our scrape interval; treat them as indicative.
